Greetings

We are a congregation of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, whose official name is Ebenezer Reformed Baptist Church. The word Ebenezer means "stone of help" (I Samuel 7:12).

Our church was founded under Dr. W.R. Small on September 19,1976. At that time we were called Rising Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church.

We come from humble beginnings; sharing facilities with other congregations, using school cafeterias, storefronts, and other temporary venues for worship services before purchasing our current location, 455 Gorrell St. in Greensboro, NC., this location is also known as "Old Gethsemane".

Our current servant-leader is Pastor, Daryl O. Sutton. His wife is Mrs. Shonda J. Sutton. Pastor attended A&T State University and GTCC. He is also affiliated with Reformed Theological Seminary of Charlotte, N.C. He was licensed and ordained by an officiating council, led by Dr.W.R. Small, in October 1995.

Pastor Sutton has since developed Stone of Help Ministries, as an action-oriented auxiliary of the church.

Our Mission is to Obey the Word of God,

Serve Christ and His Church,

Maintain public worship and assembly,

Proclaim God's Word without compromise, and

Reform the Christian mind in sound doctrine.

We invite you to visit our church. We believe you'll be pleasantly surprised by our friendly atmosphere, classical music, structured program, coherent message, opportunity for fellowship, and overall approach to Christian living.
